New Autonomous Vessel

Recently the UK Regional Office carried out the commissioning and sea trials of the new Maritime Autonomy Surface Testbed (MAST 13) vessel built by L3 ASV for the DSTL/L3 autonomous technology test platform.

This 12.3m vessel is powered by two Cummins QSB 6.7, 404kW diesel engines driving HJ292 jets with blue ARROW controls and JETlink (XCI) integration. It has a target top seed of 45 knots.
